Upcoming Digital Downloads For The Fairies Dreams & Fantasy Store For Gamebooks

The Fairies Dreams & Fantasy Store is proud to announce downloads of digital text-adventure games that are going to be DRM-Free. These games that are free to download, or paid for will be available on our store within the next 4 weeks.

Why NOT Sell Downloads On 3rd Party Websites?

This is key to maintain our brand. And starting with 1 downloadable game on our online store; all games will be free of DRM, no account is necessary to purchase our digital products. This is key to help preserve privacy of our customers who wanted to download our games that are exclusively on our website.

We are aware of antitrust, monopolies, and censorship of content that isn’t necessary. We choose to only host our own downloaded products as a way to help eliminate 3rd parties who censor and delist our products.

What To Expect

Fairies Dreams & Fantasy branding will be applied to all downloadable gamebooks. Creative Commons licenses will be applied to all of our content, characters, and themes in our gamebooks. We’re NOT trademarking our characters as a way to help reduce costs.

All gamebooks will include credits that will be present after a “Forward” option is selected. Creative Commons license information will be available too!

Product updates will be available as a gamebook get updates on a schedule. That will also apply to all gamebooks.

Twenty-five percent (25%) of our proceeds per paid downloads will be donated to select charities when conditions are met.

As a reminder; all gamebooks are free of DRM, but we discourage piracy. And why we’re NOT applying DRM or any other copy-protection schemes because, we’re NOT treating customers like criminals.

Our Promise NOT To Gouge Prices

We believe price gouging is illegal, and we decided NOT to gouge prices because, the only time price of our product and services are high when use of quality materials are used, or invested via long time for developing heavy code for games or any other software.

We will set schedules for prices to go up and down to help reduce the burden of lack of customers. If you recently visited this store online; changes will be applied.

Our Commitment Of Making Free To Download Gamebooks

Communities in poverty who can’t afford to download our quality gamebooks that require time to develop, and brainstorming can download our free gamebooks from our website as a way to help cut barriers.

Free games for download will meet the following guidelines when free games are set for being downloaded for free:

  • Contains 75% of public domain content or higher.
  • Requires short-term brainstorming of new games.
  • Contains a donation prompt

Commitment To Boycott Creator Monopolies

We hate monopolies because, we don’t condone monopolies under any way. And we are implementing an “anti-monopoly” policy as a way to help inform our users about why we don’t allow monopolies.

We are aware of FaceBook being broken up, and been involve in antitrust incidents, and we are also aware of these monopolies what we know today. It isn’t just FaceBook; that also include, The Walt Disney Company, Google, Amazon, Nintendo, Sony, Activision, Valve, and more. A monopoly is not a good business practice, it’s a form of greed, and we need these companies to break up as a way to help independent creators and businesses to thrive.

Each Paid Download What You’ve Purchased Will Support Select Charities/Organizations Listed Below

Here are our favorite charities what we’re going to support, when paid downloads are purchased:

Autism Speaks

This charity has information about spreading awareness of children and adults who has autism.

Creative Commons

Creative Commons enables you to license your content, and retain your copyright. This is a 1 stop shop to choose a license. And unlike Harry Fox, and other leading licensing agencies; you get to enable anyone to share, reuse, and even monetize works that are based-on your work. Conventional copyright like “All Rights Reserved” will become a thing of a past, and traditional licensing firms will become a thing of a past too!

Common entities who rely on Creative Commons licenses are Kevin McLeod for Incompetech, Electronic Frontier Foundation, and Wikipedia.

Free Software Foundation

This charity supports software freedom, known for opposing DRM and other technological measures. Although; most people dislike DRM because, of malware concerns, and costs of products and services. They also oppose anti-circumvention laws.

Note: Donations will be executed on Fridays when financial conditions are met.

Implementing Efforts To Block Sales To Certain Countries To Comply With Government Requirements

Fairies Dreams & Fantasy will never sell products to countries who are entities who condone terrorism, abuse human rights activists, and even rely on religious terrorism. Islamic terrorism is a known threat, including Christian terrorism.

For the best results; Fairies Dreams & Fantasy will never condone Sharia Laws under any circumstances because, these lawa are associated with abuse/exploitation/trafficking of women and girls for sex, rape, etc.
